Delete your GoBand account

You can delete your account and its data at any time, directly from the app or by emailing us.

How to delete your account

In the app

  1. Open GoBand and go to  Settings.
  2. Scroll to Account and tap Delete Account.
  3. Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.

By email

  1. Email us from the address your account uses.
  2. Use subject line "Delete my account".
  3. We will delete it within 30 days and reply when done.

What happens to your data
Deleted
  • ✓Your account and sign-in details
  • ✓Your name, email address and profile photo
  • ✓The songs, chord charts and lyrics you created
  • ✓Your voice notes and idea recordings
  • ✓Your availability and your answers to event invitations
Kept, and why
  • —Messages in band chat and song comments — shown as "Former member" so conversations stay coherent.
  • —Songs, events and setlists belonging to a band — they belong to the band, and the rest of the band is still using them.
  • —Bands you created pass to an admin or another member. If you were the only member, the band is deleted with your account.
  • —Anonymous crash and performance data — not linked to you and cannot be traced back.
Your subscription
GoBand Pro is billed by your app store, not by us. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription — it will keep renewing until you cancel it. Cancel in App Store → Subscriptions (iOS) or Play Store → Subscriptions (Android) before deleting your account.

GoBand cannot issue refunds; these are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
